Celebrating 25 years!
A firm favourite for dealers and discerning collectors, the Textile Society’s Manchester Antique & Vintage Textile Fair in April, is the UK’s premier textile event of the season and one you simply can’t afford to miss.
This year’s show is set to be very special because not only is it our 25th Antique Textile Fair in Manchester but we will also be celebrating the 100th anniversary of renowned textile designer, Lucienne Day, who was the Society’s first President.
Help to celebrate this momentous milestone by joining us with your family or friends to explore a perfect blend of over 80 exhibitors showcasing everything fabric. Renowned dealers and experts will again be joining us bringing textile and costume, artefacts from Europe, India, China, Africa - stunning antique and vintage textiles and clothes from around the world. This is a chance to see and talk about textiles, old and new, to pick up a bargain and be inspired by our student Bursary Award candidates, guilds, museums and organisations sharing their ideas with you, through talks and displays.
Ideally located at the Armitage Centre on the University of Manchester’s campus; this venue is easily accessible via train, tram, bus or road, offers free parking, disabled access and on-site organic catering with Green Plate Ltd.
The Fair includes an exciting programme of talks, and we will be joined by celebrated Fashion Designer, and local boy, Henry Holland.
