The William Morris Gallery Development Project
The gallery is now in discussion with English Heritage to finalise plans. When the project is complete in 2012, far more works of art will be on display, the galleries will have been completely renovated and all of the facilities will have been significantly improved and made fully accessible. There will, in particular, be a dedicated space for school groups, a new study area and a shop and tearoom. They will also be developing a programme of activities and events to make heritage more engaging to a wider and more diverse audience.
The gallery aims to raise nearly £2m and are currently drafting several grant applications. If you would like to support them, follow the web link.
