This evening session allows for handling of items to learn about the context in which these clothes and textiles were made and how they were worn. Janie Lightfoot will also talk about the conservation and care of such items.

Identification of weaving techniques, examples from Jennifer Hughes’ collection of Southeast Asian textiles. Audrey Duck will display her Russian textile collection. Held at Audrey's flat, Kew, London (Audrey lives 2 floors up and there is no lift). Please note that numbers limited to 12 and you should bring 2 interesting woven items for show & tell.
