We shall meet at the home of Joan & John Fisher in Berkhamsted, where they will show us part of their collection of Central Asian textiles.
The topic for ‘show & tell’ is a hat or headdress of some kind, or any textile from Central Asia.

This evening session allows for handling of items to learn about the context in which these clothes and textiles were made and how they were worn. Janie Lightfoot will also talk about the conservation and care of such items.
Places are limited to 10 people max.

Held at Audrey's flat, Kew, London (Audrey lives 2 floors up and there is no lift). Please note that numbers limited to 12 and you should bring 2 interesting woven items for show & tell.
