The exhibition will explore the local and national history of silk in England from the eighteenth century to the present day, focusing on the diaspora of silk manufacture from Spitalfields in London to Sudbury in Suffolk. A tour of the house with an informative guide followed by curator Louisa Brouwer, Keeper of Arts & Place introducing the exhibition. »
