DESCRIPTION:International exhibiting group Prism Textiles will be exhibiting at The Art Pavilion\, Mile End Park for the first time this autumn. With this exhibition\, Prism aims to bring a different perspective on the medium of fabric\, thread and mixed media\, dispelling the common myths surrounding textiles.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInternational exhibiting group Prism Textiles will be exhibiting at The Art Pavilion\, Mile End Park for the first time this Autumn. With the original debut scheduled for 2020\, a successful online show took its place and Prism Textiles are delighted to finally be able to exhibit in person at this exciting new venue. \nKatharine Paton-King\, Chair of Prism Textiles shares\, ’The theme of the exhibition ’In Search of Possibilities’ is a poignant one\, not only for many of the artists\, but\, we hope\, for our visitors too. We will be showcasing a range of quality textile practices with a fine art approach\, as well as a range of different interpretations of a theme that we hope will speak to many’. \nWith this exhibition\, Prism aims to bring a different perspective on the medium of fabric\, thread and mixed media\, dispelling the common myths surrounding textiles and opening minds to the variety of possibilities. \nKatharine has picked out a few of the artists work\, to share not only the variety of techniques\, but the variety of inspiration behind the pieces. \n\n\n\nEvent Details
