Description
Kirstie Macleod’s award-winning project The Red Dress Embroidery, took 11 years from inception through to completion and travelled the globe in the process. The collaborative artwork is covered in millions of stitches, and at 6.2 kg, is weighted as much by the individual stories and collective voices of the embroiderers waiting to be heard, as by the threads and beads that adorn it.
