Welcome to the Textile Society
The Textile Society is a registered charity based in great Britain. It is for everyone that has an interest in textiles, whether as a maker, historian, collector or enthusiast.
One of the big events of the Society calendar is the AGM. This year the theme is 'Two Cultures' and is focused on the the work of Thomas Wardle.
It takes place in September in Macclesfield, perhaps the leading centre of silk production in England. See the events page for more details.

V&A Win Textile Society Award

Textile artists receive exhibition bursaries
